Highlanders, Dynamos possible starting lineups: Dynamos player ratings, assessments

Nfor Idrissou (24) — The Cameroonian goalkeeper signed for DeMbare in February 2026 after arriving from Colombe Sportive. The #34 arrived at the Chazunguza with a big reputation having won the Best Goalkeeper award twice in a row with Colombe of Cameroon. Nfor also has a lot of experience having made close to 200 top-flight appearances for the Sangmelima-based side. He also has 15 caps for the Indomitable Lions where he is the deputy to Andre Onana.

The Cameroonian made his Chazunguza debut on 19 March 2026.
Christopher Netty (27) — Brought from Ghana. He is enjoying his spell at Dynamos where he replaced Emmanuel Jalai. He has been a revelation with his darting runs on the wing and telling crosses. Played for Asante Kotoko in Ghana.

Isaac Landu (25) — He has fitted well at centre-back and has proved a good buy at the former champions. He is hard to beat on both air and ground.

Shadreck Nyahwa

Clive Mandivei (25) — He is a versatile defender capable of playing across the backline and is a tactical aware player and positions himself well and appears to have fitted well in coach Genesis Mangombe’s tactical game.

Collin Mujuru (28) — A much travelled player who joined Dynamos at the beginning of the year, he has been to Greenfuel, Highlanders, Ubuntu in South Africa, Harare City, ZPC Kariba, Herentals and Nyasa Big Bullets of Malawi where he won the championship and played in the Caf Champions League. He was capped at Under-17 and 23 and has been the pillar of the Dynamos backline playing as if his life depended on that particular game.

Anotida Gwatidzo (21) — Joined Dynamos at the beginning of the year and has been receiving rave reviews in recent times because of his promising displays on the leftback position. He made his debut against Highlanders on 15 March and provided an assist for Tellmore Pio. Started his career at Mbare Academy and then moved to Black Rhinos. He later played for Catholic Saints.

Shadreck Nyahwa (27) — From Bulawayo. He will be up against a number of boys he played junior football with. He fights for the badge with aplomb. He has been a key member of the Dynamos midfield providing a grinding effect that is behind why the team was not relegated last year and why Dynamos have had a decent start to 2026.

He works himself to exhaustion in Dynamos’ midfield.
Perfect Chikwende (30) — Joined DeMbare from Greenfuel this January and created a goal on his debut on 8 March this year at Ascot in the 2-1 win over TelOne. Born in Gweru, Chikwende attended Pamushana High School Academy and played for Blackboots in Bulawayo in the Second Division.

With close to 300 PSL games to his account he is a very experience midfielder. He helped Bulawayo Chiefs gain promotion to the Premiership in 2018 and in 2019 moved to FC Platinum. He has also played for Simba Sports Club of Tanzania.

Frank Agyemang (24) — The Ghana native joined Dynamos early last year and scored just one goal but was always a thorn in the flesh for defences. He has hit the back of the net a number of times this season and appears to be settling well. A trial in Turkey did not earn him a move. Played for PACIFIC Heroes and Kairos FC in Ghana.

Moses Demera (33) — Moses Demera signed for Dynamos in January 2026 and made his debut in the 2-2 draw against Highlanders at Rufaro Stadium on 15 March. The striker signed for DeMbare after arriving from ZPC Kariba. Demera’s first Premiership season was in 2009 when he joined now defunct Gunners and capped a decent season’s contribution by winning the PSL title. It would be a year before the striker could find the back of the net. In 2014 he scored 22 goals in the Region Division One after Gunners were relegated and was back in the Premiership the following season with Flame Lily. He has played for Chicken Inn and Yadah as well as Rhinos. On a good day he is man at work on the field harassing defenders and midfielders with aggressive play.

Jairos Kasondo (31) — Has been with Dynamos since last season and is a striker who has weighed in with some all-important goals for the club. Lives at Banket, 96km out of Harare and wakes up as early as 5AM to commute to training daily and he is a former PAM FC and Muriel Mine striker and last year scored in the 1-0 win over CAPS United in the Harare Derby. Highlanders defenders will do well to keep this man under check as he has a knack of tearing off defenders.
