Highlanders fan’s party draws crowd, puts Mawabeni on the map

A well-known Highlanders fan, Nonhlanhla Dube, affectionately known as CC Noe, celebrated her birthday in grand style on the weekend of August 30, drawing a large crowd of fellow fans to Mbesuma Sports Bar in Mawabeni.

The birthday celebration became the centre of attraction for the community as a significant number of Highlanders supporters flocked to the venue.

The sports bar, owned by Mpumelelo ‘Mbesuma’ Nkomazana, was filled to capacity from as early as 1 PM, with patrons travelling from as far as Bulawayo and Gwanda to join the festivities.
