HIGHLANDERS Executive Member for Finance Nkani Khoza has dismissed claims of financial leakages within the club’s accounting systems, saying the real losses stem from supporters and members who gain entry to matches without paying.

Responding to concerns raised by members during the club’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Sunday, Khoza insisted that every dollar handled by the club could be accounted for.

“When you say there are financial leakages, you should be able to identify what the leakage is. We don’t have financial leakages. Our finances are intact. If there is anything, it can be accounted for,” he said.

Instead, Khoza pointed to unauthorised access at Barbourfields Stadium as the biggest source of lost revenue.
