HIGHLANDERS has appointed Denzil Mnkandla as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Mnkandla, a football administrator with a wealth of experience, has previously served in various administrative roles at FC Platinum. He will immediately take over from acting CEO Kindman Ndlovu.

A graduate of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Mnkandla emerged as the leading candidate for the position, ahead of fellow contenders Nomvelo Mlotshwa and Nkululeko Ndlovu.

He replaces Brian Moyo, who stepped down from the role four months ago.

“We welcome Mnkandla to the country’s oldest, most followed and supported football team,” Highlanders said in a statement on Friday.
