B-Metro Reporter

DETECTIVES from CID Beitbridge have busted a truck passenger with a haul of dagga after a checkpoint search along the Masvingo–Beitbridge Road.

On 15 August, cops pounced on Felix Ruvengo (43), who was travelling in a Scania G46 truck. A body search at the 80km peg near Elephant Motel led to the recovery of five cobs of dagga weighing 6.5kg.

Ruvengo was immediately arrested for unlawful possession of dagga, and police say he will face the full wrath of the law.
