A HIT-AND-RUN motorist a 56-year-old man, who died on the spot.
In a statement, police said the incident occurred at the 111km peg along Chivhu-Nyazura Road, near Chizema Bus Stop on 5 April 2024.
Police appealed for information that may help in apprehending the suspect.
“Police in Buhera are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of a fatal hit and run road traffic accident in which a man (56) died on the spot after being hit by an unknown motorist at the 111-kilometre peg along Chivhu –Nyazura Road, near Chizema Bus Stop, on 05/04/24. The motorist did not stop after the accident,” reads the statement.
