After a 60-day hiatus from social media, popular musician Holy Ten has finally broken his silence, and his fans are ecstatic.
The talented artist took to Instagram Live to share the exciting news with his followers: his brand-new 10-track album, “Musoro we Nzou”, is set to drop this coming Monday.
The anticipation is palpable, with fans eagerly awaiting the release of the album.
“Ndikanamata” featuring Feli Nandi, “Bhundu Prefects,” “Personal featuring Nyasha David, “Mugomo” featuring Jake Miles, “Pengai Mudzoke”, “Horror” featuring Saintfloew, “Hapana Space” “Mapapiro featuring Scrip Mula “In Peace” featuring Jae Cash and “Ganza.”
Holy Ten’s camp confirmed the release of the album.
“Yes a new album is coming and we are excited as we have been preparing to give our fans new music.”
Holy Ten’s temporary absence from social media had sparked a flurry of speculation and concern among his fans, with many expressing how much they missed him. “This notification just made me happy,” said one of his fan.
“Leader lets go. But problem you did not include me in the new album. One thing I am certain about is you never disappoint us your fans, we are ready for you to deliver and give us good music as always.
“This is definitely one of my favourite notification for the day. Thank you Samanyanga for coming back to give us some that will be worth listening to as always,” said another fan.
Some even lamented the perceived “cooling” of Zimbabwean hip-hop in his absence, highlighting the significant impact he has on the genre. “Zimbabwean hip-hop is finally back tiri kufara,” said one of Holy Ten’s fans.
During his Instagram live session, Holy Ten engaged with his fans, responding to comments and messages. He seemed rejuvenated and enthusiastic about his upcoming album, giving fans a sneak peek into what they can expect. Holy Ten’s last release was on Independence Day at the 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare when he released an album.
Titled “Zvaiwana Ngwarati,” the launch featured new talents like “Young Turks,” thanks to a collaboration between Samanyanga Records and Dee Nosh Harare.
Feli Nandi, Bling 4, Bagga, Kae Chaps, Terry Afrika, Runna Rulez, Scrip Mulla, Probeats and Kayflow are some of the artistes that performed on the previous launch.
