adminChrispen Charehwa (33), of 33339 Entumbane pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful entry into premises and three counts of theft before Bulawayo regional magistrate Mr Owen Tagu.
After the conviction, Charehwa told the court that he needed time to engage the services of a lawyer to mitigate on his behalf before the passing of sentence.
Mr Mazhar Petkar, for the State told the court between 28 October and 19 December last year, Charehwa in the company of Martin Mwezara, who is still at large, broke into Emcee College at the corner of Fort Street and 1st Avenue and Glandyne Flats at the corner of Samuel Parirenyatwa Street and 12th Avenue.
They stole an assortment of property valued at $87 950 and property worth $2 540 was recovered after his arrest.
Charehwa was arrested on 26 January this year and a search carried out at his house led to the recovery of some of the property they had stolen.
