HWANGE FC who have for decades solely represented Matabeleland North in elite football in Zimbabwe, could wrap up the Pacific Breeze Southern Region title on Saturday when they clash with Bulawayo Warriors at White City Stadium.

Gabriel Rugoho

The colliery team is on 73 points for better than Talen Vision who are on 69 with two matches to go.
Should Hwange win they would be on an unassailable 76 as Talen Vision can only finish on 75 if they win their two remaining matches.

Tino Chitete

It has been a tough race with the top six teams consistent having maintained the same positions at the half way stage despite the first four positions at some stage changing hands.
Talen Vision have a relatively easier assignment for Saturday taking on Bosso90 at the White City Stadium B Arena.

Bandile Moyo

Jordan FC whop are on third position engage lowly Njube Spurs at Mthwakazi Ground in Filabusi. The Johannes Nhuwa coached side has 66 points, and need just a point to seal position three.
Chasing Jordan for third position are Nkayi United with 61 with two matches to go.

It has been a good year for the Filabusi sides, Talen Vision and Jordan who both look set to finish in the top three of the race.

Jephius Sibanda

While the battles for the PSL ticket and survival ensue, the race for the top goalscorers’ gong will be unfolding with Talen Vision’s Gabriel Rugoho and Morestuff Ncube of Hwange keen to add more to their season’s tally of 15 each.

Marshall Murambiwa of Bulawayo Warriors is on 14 goals with Hwange’s Justin Kaunda tied on 13 with Ian Mostafa of Victoria Falls Herentals and Jordan’s Jephias Sibanda on 12.
Bandile Moyo of Victoria Falls Herentals has scored nine one more than the trio of Casmyn’s Sipho Ncube, Tavonga Buda of Jordan and Nkayi United’s Tinotenda Chitete.
