Hwange in hard fought win over Mountain Climbers, ZPC Hwange edge Bosso90

ZIFA Southern Region Division One log leaders Hwange laboured to a 1-0 victory over Mountain Climbers at White City Stadium while fellow championship contenders ZPC Hwange won 2-0 over Bosso90 at Luveve Stadium B-arena on Saturday.
Ernest Gwitima scored the only goal right at the for the log leaders to return home with all the three points. The win, the 24th for the season saw Hwange take their points tally to 75 while ZPC Hwange are second with 70 points.
With five matches to go before the end of the season, the race is on between the Hwange teams who are still to meet in the coal mining town before the end of the season.
Arenel Movers, occupants of third spot were beaten 2-1 by CIWU to remain on 63 points. Fourth placed Talen Vision continued to cement their position, 2-1 victorious over Mainline in Plumtree to pick up their 18th win of the season. Lizwe Sweswe’s men are now just two points from Arenel.
In the only match lined up for Sunday afternoon, Quality Foods face Ajax Hotspurs at White City Stadium’s B-arena.
