A SECURITY guard in Hwange appeared in court for allegedly sodomising four workmates he had offered accommodation.

Windas Mudenda (45) of Madumabisa Village allegedly offered his teenage recruits accommodation and  sodomised them during the night while they slept.

He was not asked to plead when he appeared before Hwange provincial magistrate, Miss Fungai Dzimiri, facing four counts of aggravated indecent assault. He was remanded in custody to October 25 for trial.

According to the State, on August 10, one of the complainants aged 17 went “home” after securing a job as a security guard at the company where Mudenda worked. The two slept on the same bed and Mudenda sodomised the minor.

On August 12, the complainant confided in his friend and workmate who also confirmed that he had also been sodomised by Mudenda before advising him to wear trousers or shorts tightly tied with a string to deter Mudenda from abusing him during the night.

The court heard that on August 13, the complainant shared the same bed with Mudenda and was sodomised while he slept. When he woke up, Mudenda jumped to the other side of the bed.

On August 15, Mudenda offered accommodation to an 18-year-old who had just secured a job at the company where he works.

At around midnight, the complainant was woken up by Mudenda caressing his whole body. Mudenda lowered the complainant’s trousers and sodomised him. The complainant would wake up with semen on his behind.

On August 25, Mudenda employed the same operandi modus on another 19-year-old recruit who he had offered accommodation at his house. During the night the complainant was woken up by Mudenda fondling his body. Mudenda forced the complainant to lie on his stomach and raped him.
