ZIMDANCEHALL chanter Hwindi Prezident has engaged the services of Harare lawyer and showbiz promoter Jivas Mudimu as part of his rebranding process.
Those close to the musician described the move as significant as he seeks to convert his fame into fortune.
Hwindi Prezident commands a substantial following, with most of his songs garnering over a million views on social media platforms.
His music appeals to all generations, effectively fusing dancehall with elements of reggae.
His lyrics resonate with the everyday experiences of ordinary people, showcasing his deep lyrical prowess and a rich catalogue of songs that appeal to all ages.
Hwindi Prezident expressed his satisfaction in working with Mudimu, noting the promoter’s level of professionalism and experience in the entertainment industry.
“We have performed at all his nightclubs in Mutoko.
“What I can tell you is that his level of professionalism and experience in the music industry is impressive.
“I know that with him our brand is transforming into a better position,” said Hwindi Prezident.
He has promised to unveil a new album, which will be launched in style under the new management.
The addition of Mudimu marks a pivotal shift for the musician, propelling him from being an ordinary artist to a powerhouse brand.
“Yes, I have been engaged by Hwindi Prezident, and we have agreed that I will manage his music affairs.
“I am sure promoters who have worked with him before recognise him as a humble and professional promoter who have worked with him before, they recognise him as an organised and professional artist.
“We are simply taking the brand to another level,” Mudimu said.
He expressed his appreciation for the Ndaiti Ndazomuwana hitmaker’s wide appeal.
“Hwindi Prezident is loved by many people, and we will work hard to elevate his brand.”
Mudimu’s extensive experience in the music industry is set to help the musician’s career flourish.
He is also the owner of Jidim Night Clubs in Rukanda and Makaha-Mtondo, both in Mutoko, where several artists have revitalised their careers by performing, including Hwindi Prezident.
