While performing a cover of the Billie Holiday hit “Don’t Explain” on Saturday night, the 44-year-old added her own very angry line.
In a recording of the performance posted on YouTube by fan Roy Fernando the star can be heard singing, “I know you cheated. . . !” around four and half minutes into the song.
Billie wrote “Don’t Explain” about her then-husband Jimmy Monroe when he came home with lipstick on his collar.
It has long been rumoured that the America’s Got Talent star had stepped out on his wife and Mariah certainly believes the hype.
Following news of their split in August, Nick was linked to a number of women including Amber Rose, who is also in the process of divorcing her husband Wiz Khalifa – whom reportedly cheated on the model with twin sisters.
Friends of Amber and Nick have denied the pair was ever romantic.
While the pop star’s new song lyrics may be causing a stir, her overall performance at her Tokyo concert was also creating ripples.

The fans claimed she had struggled to perform many of her songs and her famed voice was not what it used to be.
During one song, “We Belong Together”, the hitmaker struggled with her microphone with the large butterfly decal detaching from the mic.
She attempted to continue uninterrupted with the song, though halted saying, “Wait a minute. I can’t go on.”
While Mariah was making her statement about the relationship with Nick in song, the 33-year-old actor was making a statement of his own in a very painful way.
On Thursday night, Nick celebrated his birthday early at Hollywood nightclub Playhouse.
During a special set, the television host revealed that a new religious inspired design now adorns his back covering up the large tattoo of his estranged wife’s name that he got as wedding gift to his partner in 2008.
In a number of videos posted on the nightclub’s Instagram, the new ink can be seen and appears to be a large crucifix that has been created by putting a pattern over his old ink and leaving other space on his back free to create the shape of a cross.
While the large tattoo was a rather drastic way to remove his wife from his life and body, with such a large design Nick had little choice as it required either a painful cover-up or long term laser removal treatments.
Mariah will not face the same problem.
While she followed suit and also got inked up just prior to their wedding, the 44-year-old pop star and mother of two chose a much more subtle ink dedication with “Mrs Cannon” vertically written in tiny letters on the thorax of a butterfly on her lower back. – Daily Mail.
