BULAWAYO-based ICT expert, consultant and Zimpapers columnist Robert Ndlovu has died at the age of 56.
Ndlovu died at Thorngrove Hospital in Bulawayo on Monday, August 24, 2026 after a long illness.
He was widely known for his work in information and communications technology, particularly telecommunications, wireless networking, cybersecurity, VoIP and digital connectivity.
Ndlovu was also a regular columnist for The Chronicle, where he used his expertise to unpack developments in technology and their potential impact on Zimbabwean society.
Through his columns, he wrote about subjects including ICT development, internet connectivity, municipal technology, blockchain, cybersecurity and the need to equip young people with digital skill.
Mourners are gathered at S10 Mzilikazi suburb in Bulawayo.
