THE countdown to Mine Entra 2026 is well and truly on, with preparations entering the final stretch as heavy machinery rumbles into the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre (ZIEC) and exhibitors put the finishing touches to their stands ahead of the country’s premier mining showcase.
The 28th annual Mine Entra 2026 exhibition takes place from Wednesday to Friday 31 July, 2026, at the Zimbabwe International Conference and Exhibition Smart City (ZICES) in Bulawayo.
The premier mining, engineering, and transport showcase runs under the theme “Unearth, Transform, Prosper: Anchoring Economic Transformation Through Mining Value Chains”.
Across the exhibition grounds, cranes, loaders and haulage trucks have transformed the venue into a hive of activity, with mining equipment worth millions of dollars being positioned for display.
Workers were on Tuesday busy erecting exhibition stands, testing equipment and completing branding as organisers raced against time to ensure everything is ready for the opening of the annual mining, engineering and transport exhibition.
The event is expected to bring together leading local and international mining companies, equipment manufacturers, technology providers, investors and policymakers to showcase the latest innovations shaping the future of the mining industry.
Visitors will have an opportunity to witness cutting-edge mining technology up close, including modern exploration equipment, mineral processing solutions, automation systems, safety innovations and heavy-duty earthmoving machinery.
Several exhibitors have already begun assembling giant excavators, drilling rigs, loaders and other specialised mining equipment, providing a glimpse of what promises to be one of the biggest editions of Mine Entra in recent years.
The exhibition comes at a time when Zimbabwe’s mining sector continues to attract significant investment under the Second Republic’s drive to grow the industry into a multi-billion-dollar sector.
Beyond the impressive machinery displays, Mine Entra 2026 is expected to provide a platform for business networking, investment discussions and knowledge sharing on emerging trends, sustainable mining practices and technological advancements transforming the global mining landscape.
With the final preparations now at an advanced stage, all roads are set to lead to Bulawayo, where the mining industry’s biggest players will converge for several days of exhibitions, conferences and business engagements showcasing the future of mining.
