Inaugural Iron and Steel Conference postponed

THE planned inaugural Iron, Steel and Energy Investment Conference (ISEIC) that was scheduled for this week in Kwekwe has been postponed.

The conference was set to run from today to Friday under the theme, “Shaping a Sustainable Future for Zimbabwe’s Iron, Steel and Energy Industry”.

“We wish to inform all our valued Stakeholders that the Iron, Steel and Energy Investment Conference which was slated for the 6th-9th of Feb 2024 at King Solomon Hotel in Kwekwe has been postponed to a date to be announced. Any inconveniences caused are sincerely regretted,” the Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion ministry posted on its social media X platform.

The Zimbabwe Economic Development Conference (ZEDCON) in partnership with the Young Achievers Zimbabwe (YAZ), the Ministry of Veterans of Liberation Struggle Affairs, the Ministry of Energy and Power Development, the Ministry of Trade and Commerce, the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development and ZIMTRADE had co-organised the conference.
