BULAWAYO’S rhythm rebels, Asante Mo, are turning up the heat — and they’re bringing the fire to Harare!

The explosive five-member crew is set to unleash their jaw-dropping dance and percussion spectacle, Indandanda, at Theatre in the Park on April 29 and 30 — and the capital city better be ready!

A fierce fusion of traditional Southern African vibes with modern flair, Indandanda is not your average dance show — it’s a full-throttle celebration of culture, movement, and heart-thumping rhythm that promises to leave audiences drenched in awe.
“We’re bringing energy, heritage, and raw power to the stage,” said founding member Newman Trinidad, whose passion for African arts pulses through every beat. “Indandanda is not just a show — it’s a cultural explosion. Think pounding drums, hypnotic dance moves, and the kind of vibe that grabs your soul.”

Trinidad says the group has been dying to hit the capital with their signature style, and Harare fans are in for a front-row seat to magic.
“This is for our day ones in Harare — those who’ve followed our journey from afar. It’s time to connect, live and loud,” he said.

Asante Mo, made up of Newman Trinidad, Bekithemba Phiri, Aaron DJ Beast, Native DJ, and Makhosi Mlotshwa, is quickly becoming one of Zimbabwe’s hottest creative exports. Known for their genre-bending performances that blend tribal rhythms, dance theatre, and edgy beats, the crew is setting new standards in contemporary cultural expression.

The show is expected to attract creatives, culture lovers, and the urban arts crowd looking for something raw, rhythmic, and real.
“Harare’s about to get a taste of Bulawayo’s boldest beatmakers,” said one fan on X. “If you’ve never seen Indandanda live — trust me, this is your moment.”

So whether you’re a lover of African dance, a beat junkie, or just in need of a spiritual shake-up, Asante Mo’s Indandanda is the show to see.

Get your sneakers laced, your spirit ready, and your soul tuned to the drum — the invasion is coming!
