TRADITIONAL rivals India and Bangladesh are set to face off in one of the early marquee fixtures of the ICC Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026 at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo this morning.
The Group B encounter is the highlight of the day’s schedule, with Japan and Sri Lanka also set to clash in Windhoek, Namibia.
India comes into the match having secured a nervy six-wicket opening win against the USA on Thursday, while this will be Bangladesh’s first outing of the tournament, an ideal opportunity to set the tone for their campaign.
Heading into the contest, India holds a 3–2 win-loss record over the past five meetings between the two sides. However, Bangladesh have won two of the last three encounters, including an Asia Cup final triumph just over a year ago.
The match is free of charge to spectators.
