Inflatable Luna Park bounces back

THE Inflatable Luna Park has returned with remarkable designs of fun, exceptional decorations, and appealing toys for both youngsters and adults. The Nova Inflatables made their maiden appearance at this year’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), where they came to the rescue of children who had lost hope in the traditional Luna Park. Following the positive reaction the company received in April, they will once again set up the inflatable luna park at Parkview Sports Club in Bulawayo this weekend.

Nova Inflatables spokesperson Progress Moyo said their goal is to put smiles on children’s faces. “Our vision and goal are to enable a smile on every kid’s face whenever they attend our Inflatable Luna Parks. We also cater to adults so the fun is suitable for the whole family.

“We hosted our first event during the ZITF and the children loved it. We’ve thus decided to bring back the fun this Saturday and Sunday as our aim is to promote the social scene, especially for children in Bulawayo,” Moyo said.

She said this exhibition will complement the summer season. “We’re coming out of winter and just want to live in the sun. Our colourful designs are specially made to attract and cheer people as they enter the venue. The inspiration came from wanting to have a colourful and presentable display that would attract patrons as they walk in.”

Other than Bulawayo, the inflatable luna park has been to towns that include Hwange and Gwanda.  “We’re trying to revive what was lost with the old Luna Park. We have jumping castles of different designs and sizes, small ones for kids and bigger ones for adults.

“We have kids’ swimming pools, electric vehicles, bikes for kids and adults, a section for paintballing, and a Bungie,” Moyo said.

The plan, Moyo said, is to continue bringing new equipment so that the activities don’t get boring. “Also, our future plans are to have permanently-based Inflatable Luna Parks in all major cities. People of Zimbabwe should always know that there’s a place to have fun on a weekend and that’s only through Nova Inflatables.” — @SeehYvonne
