“For the youth, I would give them to work on the term consciousness which also entails discipline, purpose, and hard work. Also, as people we have to understand why God has put you in a certain place and gives you the motivation to pursue”, said Herry.

Herry grew up in Braeside, Harare and learnt at Cranborne and Midlands State University (MSU). He was raised by a single mother who taught him the importance family.

“During the school terms I would be in the urban areas and during holidays  in rural areas in Masvingo. I was really blessed with a taste of both worlds because that is what completes your personality, ‘ ubuntu’”, said the Afrulencer Man of the Year Award winner.

Herry believes in appropriating his time between being a banker and a farmer. He achieves both as he knows how to manage his businesses. He is passionate about being a trustee. He is part of a trust which is charged with mitigating poverty which does a lot of outreach work in the eastern communities. They are also working on assisting a group of people in Bulawayo to set up a law firm.
