BULAWAYO’S lyrical grenade, Lights Out WakoBulawayo, has just dropped a sonic slap in the face to all the pretenders, fake friends, and dream-killers lurking in the shadows, and it’s called “iProtocol engaka”!
Fresh off the blocks and blazing through streaming platforms, the Zimdancehall scorcher is a no-holds-barred reality check from the streets of Mzilikazi, where Lights Out, real name Lymon Tanaka Moyo, sharpened his tongue and tightened his flow.

“This track is for those who slow down progress, always talking about ‘protocol’ and throwing around fake vibes,” said the outspoken hitmaker. “It’s also a jab at the ones who are too forward, abaphaphayo!”
With razor-sharp delivery and hard-hitting lyrics, “iProtocol engaka” is more than just a diss track, it’s a township anthem for anyone tired of the snakes in the grass.

“It’s not beef. It’s truth,” he added. “Too often, the people closest to you are the ones blocking your blessings. I’m just painting what I see every day.”
But WakoBulawayo isn’t stopping there. The genre-blending artist is already prepping a bold new hip-hop mixtape, “Made In Manwele,” where he’ll flip iconic US tracks like 50 Cent’s “Window Shopper”, Fantasia’s “When I See You”, and Soulja Boy’s “Kiss Me Through the Phone,” giving them raw Ndebele heat straight from the ‘hood.

And yes, brace yourself for two separate full-length albums later this year, one strictly Zimdancehall, the other pure hip-hop. No fillers. Just fire!
Also making waves in film and community activism, Lights Out WakoBulawayo is proving he’s more than just bars, he’s a colossal vibe!
From Manwele to the world, this is one artist who’s not here to play nice.
