Is there conspiracy against me?

JEREMIAH 29:11 is a very common passage of scripture that many are aware of.

I have been led today to share a few thoughts about what this verse says.

The background of the verse is that Jeremiah the prophet is telling the nation that slavery is coming but fear not because God is with you.

Sometimes in life you can get to a point where you wonder if it is worth it to continue with life as you know it.

Be it life in general, a job, a relationship, a business, a ministry or even a project. You may feel trapped by the events around you, events that are out of your control or those that are supposed to be in your control but are not.

It can feel like there is a conspiracy against you, whereby someone or something is dictating to you how your life must go on without your consent.

I want to let you know that despite all that happening around you, it is God who gave you life and the breath to breathe. He holds all power and knowledge, and He is not some distant being who does not care about you.

He promises that He alone knows the plans that He has for you. Moreover, those plans are good.

He does not consult your parents, boss, landlord, brother, sister, mother, father, children, Member of Parliament, teacher, or anyone you can think of.
