LIVERPOOL defender Isaac Mabaya has been ruled out through injury as the Warriors step up preparations for their upcoming assignment, with 19 players already in camp.
Mabaya’s withdrawal is the latest setback for the Warriors, who are continuing to assemble their squad ahead of the international engagement.
The Warriors have already welcomed a strong contingent of players into camp, including captain Marshall Munetsi, Elvis Chipezese, Daniel Msendami, Andy Rinomhota and Prosper Padera.
Also in camp are Munashe Garananga, Sean Fusire, Bill Antonio, Shane Maroodza, Marvelous Nakamba, Thando Ngwenya, Tawanda Chirewa, Corbin Mthunzi and Martin Mapisa.
Nelson Chadya, Peter Muduhwa, Kevin Moyo, Emmanuel Jalai and Abubakar Moffat complete the 19 players currently in camp.
Divine Lunga and Tawanda Maswanhise are expected to join the squad on Tuesday.
The Warriors begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualification Group E campaign away against Sierra Leone on September 24, 2026 in Morocow.
