ALL is set for the second edition of the Harris Lodges Cup showdown to take place on 31 May in what promises to be an explosive battle at White City Stadium when 18 police stations take part in the tournament.

Sponsored to the tune of US$4,500, the competition features teams from the Bulawayo Police Interstations Soccer League.

In the inaugural edition last year, the Support Unit emerged victorious by defeating Nkulumane Police Station 5-1.

Tournament spokesperson Jordan Dube said the stage is set for the competition, for which they have partnered with Young Women for ED and Pusheka Girl.

“We at Harris Lodges are delighted to have been given the opportunity to host this prestigious event at White City Stadium. Everything is set, and our games will start early in the morning.

“Fans should come in their numbers for a special treat. The tournament promises to bring together the best players from the Bulawayo Police Interstations Soccer League, and we expect it to be an epic event,” said Dube.

Dube added that entertainment will be provided by MaNine, Intombi ZoMqhangala, and the dance star, Bazooka.
