DStv kicks off the winter season with so much more for its female subscribers as they launch their first ever Ladies Pamper Day tomorrow. Female subscribers can spend an afternoon at Langa Cosmetics and Spa in Avondale, relaxing and experiencing the pleasures of home grown beauty therapy with Langa Sibanda-Lloyd, creator of Langa Cosmetics and former Miss Universe Zimbabwe. Currently the only mineral based Zimbabwean cosmetics brand, Langa Cosmetics is pioneering healthier skin care designed specifically for African women with darker skin tones. “I wanted to design a range of makeup for women like me,” says Langa.
Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said the DStv Ladies Pamper Day was inspired by the women’s audience segments on DStv.
Female subscribers wishing to attend must register via WhatsApp on the event hotline : +263 77 9993993 , and provide their DStv subscriber number, full name and email address to ensure they do not miss this event, as there are limited spaces available.
“DStv caters for all market segments, and women and young viewers have their fair share of the platform,” said Dziva. “Watch out for news about even bigger things as the year progresses!” Women of the 21st century have a wide range of interests, from the more serious topics to the lighter content, and DStv now covers all of these with programming that is second to none. Channels that are aimed primarily at women, range from E! Entertainment and Style Network, to TLC Entertainment, Telemundo, Africa Magic, Food Network and Fashion TV, as well as large sections of other channels in the various genres of on-screen action.
