The Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary defines the word witch as one who practices black art, or magic or possessing evil supernatural or magical power backed by demons and works in league with the devil or a sorcerer or sorceress.
My life experiences have informed me that witchcraft is an enemy that hates progress with perfect hatred. Witches have an ugly and nasty agenda for people, communities and nations. Therefore witchcraft can supervise personal and also national disasters. Besides this, witchcraft is an evil force that quenches people’s destinies and national destinies.
Apart from this, witchcraft dismantles profitable foundations. Hence witchcraft is public enemy number one. One’s level of ignorance would determine how this enemy number one preys on the parties concerned.
In Exodus 22:18 we read about Moses, a prophet of God making it clear that God hates witches and their trade with perfect hatred. “Suffer not a witch to live” is a commandment that the Most High God expects His children and servants to execute to fruition. I have come to understand why God hates witchcraft so much from various witchcraft cases God has used Prophet Makandiwa to deliver and put to a complete closure in United Family International Church (UFIC) services.
It is important for children of God to appreciate the admonition found in Exodus 22:18 about destroying witches and the entire system of manipulation of humanity into bondage. Witchcraft operates under a hidden identity. Our Living God cannot afford to watch His creation fall into witchcraft booby traps and explode into extinction.
The devil is a liar. We are not ignorant of his devices. God’s heartbeat is to see His creation totally depending upon Him for power, security and direction. Jesus Christ is the only dependable consultant for life cares.
He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. It is in God’s nature not to have competitors like organisations in this world. He is a jealous God and this is His sovereignty to use His anointed servants to deliver His people from the machinations of witches and wizards.
Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa in his sermon “Usarega muroyi achirarama” said God established this commandment to show how much He hates witchcraft as an evil trade. Prophet Makandiwa said the reason why God meted out strong punitive measures against witchcraft is because witchcraft practices are heartless and devoid of mercy on individuals, communities and nations. The Bible shows us cases of witchcraft dealt with severely under the leadership of Prophet Elijah in Zarephath-
Jezebel’s witchcraft headquarters. We also see Jehu anointed to destroy every trace of Jezebelian witchcraft (2 Kings 9:22). God hates witchcraft irrespective of where it is practiced.
Prophet Makandiwa went on to say in his message “Suffer not a witch to live” that the devil has repackaged witchcraft to suit modern tastes but has left the very essence intact. Prophet Makandiwa empowered Christians and is telling us today that the greatest enemy of knowledge is ignorance. All tragedies of human experience are due to ignorance.
Our Father in the Lord Prophet Makandiwa made it clear in his message that witchcraft is domination, manipulation and control using any spirit different from the Holy Spirit. For example, during his ministration Prophet Makandiwa delivered a man who had been under witchcraft bondage for 11 years with hiccups. This man was born normal, but witchcraft powers had succeeded in diverting his destiny. This was a phenomenal experience for this man, his family and the ministry.
We have seen witchcraft practiced in churches to the extent that the practitioners camouflage it with church uniforms, carrying hymn books and Bibles and at times preach the Word of God to confuse people. God is going to judge witches and wizards because they now have infiltrated the church, school, love, entertainment, medicine, businesses (names given to some products is evidence), fundraising, unions, holidays, etc.
Unfortunately, the modern people suffer from gross ignorance of the impact of these witchcraft powers. The Body of Christ is strongly warned in this scripture found in 1 Peter 4:17, “For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
Jehovah God wants to purge His church from witchcraft that He may give way to His ultimate power and flow of His Spirit in His church without any dilution and hindrance. In this generation, God wants to heal and bless His people and deliver them from the power of ignorance and the grip of Satan. For that reason God is raising men and women of substance in the calibre of Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa whom God has used as His battle axe. The book of Genesis tells a story of Cain inviting his brother Abel to go to a secluded place hedging his evil intentions. It’s unconscionable that a brother kills his own brother out of jealous. This is a classic example of witchcraft in families, churches and work places. Have we not seen or heard a lot of witchcraft cases of men or women who lost their lives or limbs because of jealous for certain positions or achievements in church organisations or families?
This is witchcraft at a very high level. This would make me want to know what was actually happening in Cain’s mind and heart. Prophet Makandiwa helps me understand that such people are possessed with the spirit of witchcraft and can do anything to get what they want regardless of loss of human life. The Man of God calls it moral decadence that has gripped some individuals, communities and nations.
Human beings are not goats or cabbages that one can dispose of any time. Humanity is created in the image of God. Prophet Makandiwa lamented that the spirit of Cain abounds in today’s churches and communities and the havoc it has wreaked. We as the body of Christ are consoled to know that there is a God in heaven who brings deliverance and justice at the appointed time.
Anything that fights the good living of God’s people is witchcraft and God would want to judge through the anointing of His servants. Anything that fights good in a human being is witchcraft. Witchcraft hinders people from progressing in life, it quenches destinies, vandalises destinies and destroys profitable foundations for humanity and communities.
It is high time the Body of Christ with one mind, spirit and body destroys completely the communication lines of witchcraft.
Just like the blood of Abel spoke vengeance but the Blood of Jesus speaks better things for you. Let me remind you to come to the National Sports Stadium on the night of 6 April, 2012 where God has anointed His servant to judge every witchcraft power harassing and tormenting your life. In the words of Edmund Burke
(1729-1797), “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.”
Come to National Sports Stadium and destroy witchcraft strongholds afflicting your life. The Lord is on the throne!
