adminSo perhaps it was a case of battle of exes on Thursday, as J-Lo (43) and Marc (44) took to the stage separately to perform at the Premios Juventud 2013 — said to be the Spanish version of the People’s Choice Awards. Joining them at the event were their respective love interests, Casper Smart (26) and Chloe Green (22) — in her first official red carpet outing with Marc.
Intriguingly, J-Lo avoided bumping into the couple on the red carpet as she was busy backstage getting ready to perform, leaving her toyboy Casper Smart to arrive alone.
Casper certainly lived up to his surname in a dapper green suit, while Marc and Chloe both opted for black ensembles.
While J-Lo missed out on making a grand entrance on the red carpet, she more than made up for it in two incredible outfits performing on stage. And it seemed that J-Lo’s extra rehearsal time certainly paid off, as she undoubtedly stole the show from her ex-husband Marc.
Wearing mesh coloured tights and a revealing leotard, J-Lo looked absolutely inedible as she performed a sexy routine with rapper Pitbull, and was flanked by a group male dancers. Hopefully, Chloe won’t have minded watching the absolutely stunning Jennifer strut her stuff on stage. Perhaps hoping to keep up with his ex, Marc Anthony then appeared on stage in a plain black suit and spiced up his performance with scantily-clad female dancers.
While some reports have suggested Jennifer is fine with her ex’s choice of girlfriend, another report suggested the singer was ‘furious’ that the pair had got together.
It was first revealed that Chloe and Marc were dating back in February after the pair were spotted at Disneyland with his children Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximillian David Muñiz.
Then in April, it was reported that the odd couple had split following rumours that Marc had distanced himself from the Topshop heiress — but it appears that for now, they are back on. It is unclear whether Marc, Chloe, Jennifer and Caspar have all been in the same room together at the same time. However, it is by no means the first time Jennifer has been in the same room as Chloe — as the pair first met when Jen was still married to Marc. Chloe — who is 23 years younger than Marc — dined with Jennifer and Marc, alongside her father Sir Philip at Balthazar in New York in April 2009.
After the awards, Chloe tweeted a picture of herself and Marc on the red carpet, writing: “You were amazing tonight I am so proud.”
Also at the event, hoping to attract some attention away from the awkward exes, was pop singer Ricky Martin.
Ricky (41) looked in high spirits as he arrived dressed all in white.
J-Lo gave a tearful acceptance speech for World Icon award for her role in the entertainment industry, saying: “When I see all these images and you beautiful faces, I feel very fortunate to be here tonight. What I have always wanted to do with my life is to create, sing, dance, act and entertain; and be a good person.”
The fun didn’t stop on stage either, as after her big win on the night she celebrated backstage and looked beautiful in a Zuhair Murad dress.
Earlier this month, Chloe and Marc were spotted on her father’s £32 million Benetti yacht, Lionheart, kissing and cuddling off the coast of Porto Cervo, Sardinia. — Daily Mail
