Students from Nust, Hillside Teachers College, UCE, Bulawayo Polytechnic, and Catholic University of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo are set to be treated to an end-of-semester party at BAC Leisure.
Themed the Semester Shutdown Party, the event promises a lively night, headlined by dancehall musician Jah Master, who is expected to arrive in Bulawayo on Thursday evening ahead of the show on Friday.
Sharing the stage with him are some of Bulawayo’s promising up-and-coming artistes, including Bovas, Senko, Jah Practice, Freezer, and King Adiza.
“This party is a chance for students to unwind, have fun, and celebrate the hard work put in over the semester. DJs will be on rotation, keeping the energy high all night,” said Tawanda Muchechetere, BAC Leisure manager.
He said the festivities will kick off at 6pm, welcoming not only students but the wider community to join in the celebration.
“It’s the perfect opportunity to let loose, dance, and enjoy great music with friends and classmates,” Muchechetere added.
