Jah Prayzah launches live DVD tonight

Contemporary musician Jah Prayzah, will tonight launch his live Australia DVD at the Big Apple. The “Tsviriyo” hit-maker will be sharing stage with upcoming Zim dancehall artist from Kwekwe Doubles WekwaMarange, who is going to be the opening act.

Speaking to this publication, Jah Prayzah said he was happy to be launching his live DVD saying it will also give opportunity to his local fans to have a feel of his performance abroad.

“I am very happy to be launching my first commercial live DVD and I hope people will enjoy it, it is good for our local fans to see what we will be doing when we are outside the country.

‘‘I would also like to thank my fans abroad for the overwhelming response to my music especially people in Australia, the tour was one of my best,” he said.

He also promised a polished act: “You know the support we have been getting from our fans is just too much and the only way we can thank them is by delivering an explosive act during our live performances.’’

Show organiser, Benjy Nyandoro of Jive Zimbabwe said they are also overwhelmed by the response that the musician got in Australia hence the need to launch the live DVD.

“Jive Zimbabwe is more than excited with the overwhelming response to the new offering ‘Jerusarema’ from fans in Zimbabwe and abroad and on this day fans are going to have an opportunity to grab a copy of the Australia tour, a high Definition DVD that was professionally shot.”

DVD carries footage from Jah Prayzah’s performances in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It carries songs from his previous albums including “Darlie wangu”, “Dande”, “Mukadzi Wangu”, “Sisiriya”, “Machembere’, “Kumbumura Mhute”, “Mwoyo Wakaoma”, “Makanika”, “Ngwarira” “Kuparara” , “Gochi Gochi” and “Tsviriyo”.
