AS part of his ongoing national tour, contemporary musician Jah Prayzah will this week make a date with fans in Beitbridge and Masvingo to give them a taste of his latest album, Jerusarema.
The Eriza hit-maker, who was in Bulawayo last month where he performed to a full house at the Amphitheatre, is billed to perform at Pagomba Cafe in Beitbridge on Friday.
On Saturday, he together with his 3rd Generation band will take their act to Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo. They will be joined by Ricky Fire, Jean Masters and the Masters Band, Shoriwa and Murehwa Express, Mannex, Ayanda, Brisco, Military and DJs Dee Nosh, Tonny and Zola.
Jah Prayzah’s new manager, Keen Mushapaidze, who took over from Fildah Muchabaiwa, said they had embarked on the national tour to simply express gratitude to fans for supporting them over the years.
So far, Jah Prayzah has staged shows in Victoria Falls, Hwange and most recently Bulawayo.
“Our shows have been pegged at $5 so that all fans are able to join us as we want to celebrate with them. The fans had been clamouring for more live performances hence our decision to embark on this national tour,” said Mushapaidze.
From Masvingo, Jah Prayzah will be visiting Kariba where he is slated to perform at Nyamhunga Stadium before proceeding to the border town of Chirundu for a show at Megga 10.
