Jah Prayzah to tour China

Man of the moment and contemporary musician Mukudzeyi “Jah Prayzah” Mukombe is set to leave for a one-week tour of China that begins on September 8. The musician as the brand ambassador of the Dream Star talent search competition and he will be accompanying a group of performers who have managed to make in the top 20 of the contest.

Jah Prayzah will be performing in three cities in China.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, his manger Keen Mushapaidze confirmed the trip.

“Jah is the brand ambassador of the talent search show Dream Star so we will be there in China and we are leaving on the eighth (of September), it’s going to be a week’s trip,” said Keen

Jah Prayzah will have the opportunity to sample his popular album “Jerusarema” which has made waves in Zimbabwe.

The trip was made possible by the Chinese federation working in conjunction with Jacaranda Culture and Media Corporations as a way of promoting the young talent in Zimbabwe.

The team that is going to be in China comprises those who made in the top 10 last year’s competition and this year’s top performers.

The “Tsviriyo” hit maker was appointed the Dream Star Zimbabwe brand ambassador in July this year and will be marketing the brand.

The young stars will also perform in China as part of their tour.
