Japan’s ambassador pays courtesy call on Speaker Mudenda

Japan’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Maekawa Nobutaka, met this Wednesday afternoon with the Speaker of Parliament, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, at his office in the Parliament Building in Mt. Hampden.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Ambassador Maekawa said they discussed various issues to boost their existing bilateral ties.

The ambassador also expressed his country’s gratitude following visits to Japan by President Mnangagwa and the Speaker on separate occasions last year.
