SOUTH Africa’s multi award-winning, Jaziel Brothers, celebrate 10 years in the music industry this year and mark the feat with the release of a beautiful, powerful single titled, Ndinike Indawo.
The talented duo of Luthando and Ntobeko Ngcizela, behind the hit Ngeke Ndiphinde, took the music industry by storm in 2006 with their block buster, Jub Jub’s Ndikhokhele.
In their 10 years in the music industry, they have racked up an impressive musical repertoire as they have worked with many reputable artistes such as Zimbabwe’s superstar Oliver Mtukudzi on a track called MaAfrica. The talented duo has also worked with Nathi on his album Buyelekhaya, which include hit singles such as Nomvula, Big Nuz’s Do you still remember, DJ Cndo’s I didn’t mean it, Kelly Khumalo’s Ilobolo and Mandoza’s Love.
The Eastern Cape born duo said the key to their success and staying relevant in the music industry for 10 years lies in their passion for music and development of other artists.
“It’s humbling to be doing what we love 10 years on and to celebrate this journey not only for our own achievements but for the success other artistes have achieved from the work we have done with them,” said Luthando.
He said they wanted to thank fans for their continued support over the past 10 years.
“Fellow musicians, members of the media and fans have been truly supportive of us throughout our 10 year journey and we are truly grateful. We look forward to continually sharing our music with the country and the rest of the continent” said Luthando.
The name Jaziel according to the brothers, means God’s Comfort and the talented duo has earned the Jaziel Brothers numerous South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and Metro FM Music Awards (MMAs).
