Political activist Jim Kunaka, who is facing charges of inciting public violence, has been denied bail.

Harare provincial magistrate, Ms Ruth Moyo ruled that Kunaka is not a suitable candidate for bail and has a propensity for committing similar offences.

Consequently, Kunaka has been remanded in custody to 4 December.

The State alleges that Kunaka, along with accomplices who are already on remand and others who are still at large, conspired to incite the public to participate in an unlawful gathering.

The gathering, dubbed the “One Million Men March,” was reportedly organised by activist Blessed Runesu Geza to protest against President Mnangagwa.
