THE Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) has launched its Client Service Charter aimed at improving service delivery, promoting transparency, and supporting the Government’s ease-of-doing-business drive.
The charter sets out service standards and definitive timelines for the regulator’s operations, including medicine registration and licensing, to ensure stakeholders receive services efficiently and predictably.
MCAZ Public Relations and Communications Manager, Mr Davidson Kaiyo, said the initiative was intended to ensure all stakeholders are treated fairly, without favouritism, while improving access to the authority’s services.
“The client service charter really is about the ease of doing business, to make sure that the people of Zimbabwe have access to medicines that are safe, effective and of good quality promptly,” he said.
