ZIMDANCEHALL star Jnr Spragga is being hailed as an inspiration for Chitungwiza youths who is making his hometown proud.
It has been a great weekend for Chitown representatives with Brunette Makanyiso finishing TWELVETH at the Miss World pageant in Vietnam on Saturday.
An appointment as the brand ambassador of football champions Scottland has resulted in Jnr Spragga being showered with gifts, including a car, a house and household furniture.
The package for the house and household furniture, which was donated by businessman Wicknell Chivayo, will be worth US$200,000.
“I thought just being a Scottland FC fan is just for fun and enjoying football, but no, I was wrong,” Jnr Spragga said.
“I have always seen others shining. I never thought that very soon I will be the one shining too.
“Thank you for changing my life. I’m really grateful for the gifts you have given me.”
Some residents in Chitungwiza say the way the dancehall star’s life has transformed will be an inspiration for other young men who are growing up in the dormitory town.
His army of fans has also been showering him with praises after what has been a defining weekend for the young chanter.
