TELONE boss Herbert “Jompano” Maruwa says they are ready to bring MWOS down to earth when the two sides clash at Ngoni tomorrow.
The Midlands side have Washington Navaya, the man who has scored eight goals so far this season, and has been voted Player of Month for March and April.
So far, 10 teams have attempted and failed this test against Lloyd Mutasa’s troops.
“We’re ready for them. They’ve done well but we’re not reading much into their business.
“Our mission is to collect maximum points.
“The preparations for this game have been good. I can’t say the boys are not in good shape, they all seem ready.
“We know it won’t be easy. I personally have utmost respect for Mutasa because of the role he played in my coaching career, and I’m sure he knows what he’s up against tomorrow.”
Mutasa said:
“We respect TelOne because this is our debut season but we’re also determined to play this match for our fans who have been there for this team from the beginning.
“Football is a game of pressure and our position on the table comes with more pressure but we just have to react in a positive way.
“I can only attribute our strong start to God because He’s made it look easy and I believe we can go a long way if we keep having faith.”
