LONDON. — Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne has won his first England call-up ahead of the Euro 2016 soccer qualifiers against San Marino and Estonia. Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs and Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey are both recalled to the squad.
But there are only three strikers in the squad, with Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge out with a thigh strain. England play San Marino at Wembley on October 9 before travelling to face Estonia on October 12.
