Jumbo kills mother, daughter (6)

little girl.
Elinate Siamavhu (38) of Chigwagwa Village under Chief Mola in Siakobvu was moving property from her old homestead to a new one with her daughter Cholletha Magetsi (6) when the elephant attacked.

Mashonaland West police spokesperson Inspector Clemence Mabgweazara said the mother died on the spot while the daughter died on the way to clinic after she was gored in the stomach.
The husband heard them screaming for help and went out to investigate. He found his wife lying in a pool of blood while Cholletha was groaning in pain with her intestines protruding.

Insp Mabgweazara urged people living in wildlife areas to avoid provoking animals as they would cause death or injury to other people.
Their deaths bring to three the number of people who have died so far this year from elephant attacks following another attack in March.
