JUST IN: Return to work or no pay, Drs told

Government has directed its central and provincial hospitals to advise the Salary Service Bureau of the absence of junior doctors from work since the beginning of the month with a view to stopping their salaries and benefits.

This comes some 24 hours after the striking junior doctors turned down an offer by Government reviewing their allowances by 50 percent and continuing with the strike.
