JUST IN: Vusa Mkhaya, Msiz’kay to collabo

AUSTRIA-based singer and songwriter Vusa Mkhaya will record a song with rapper Msiz’kay at the behest of fans who retweeted a post by the former that garnered over 100 likes.

The award-winning Vusa Mkhaya posted last week that he had written a song that Msiz’kay would be perfect for and if fans agreed they should retweet in acknowledgment.

“I got “home” from a gig after midnight and I was still on a high so I wrote a song and I think @Msiz’kay can feature on it kuhle nje. 100 retweets for Vusa Mkhaya feat Msiz´Kay. Let’s go,” he posted.

There was an immediate response as fans, friends and colleagues retweeted the post and it’s standing at 217.

Most of the posts were people who were excited at the prospect of the two doing a song together.

Msizkay, who is behind the hit track Ngawuz’umoya wami, also posted and said: “Yazi into zokuba-Offline lezi (I was offline), oh well. Better late than never, asenze kwenzeke bro (Lets make it happen, brother).”

True to his word, Vusa Mkhaya said he would fulfil his promise.

“Those who retweeted my @Msizkay post a few days ago Ngiyabonga (I thank you). We are going into the studio first week of August to record a Msiz´Kay and Vusa Mkhaya song.
