Justice Patel opens Chinhoyi High Court legal year

CONSTITUTIONAL Court Judge, Justice Bharat Patel, has officially opened the Chinhoyi High Court legal year.

The Legal Year opening ceremony brought together judges, magistrates, legal practitioners, representatives of the Law Society, traditional leaders, security chiefs and other justice sector stakeholders.

Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister, Marian Chombo, Commanding Officer Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Mashonaland West, Commissioner Tawonei Nyazema, ZPCS’s Mashonaland West Commanding Officer, Commissioner Luke Zondai Makuvire were among senior Government officials at this year’s celebration.

Justice Patel started the proceedings by inspecting a Quarter Guard mounted by Chinhoyi Central Police Station.
