Kachambwa to lead Team Zim

Kachambwa, a seasoned hockey administrator, is expected to receive his formal notification today. Former Basketball Union of Zimbabwe secretary-general Bertha Faranisi has been appointed the deputy chef de mission in charge of administration while Joseph Muchechetere takes care of the technical portfolio.
Sports Commission director-general Charles Nhemachena said the appointment of the trio by the SRC board came after wide consultations. “The Sports Commission board have appointed the top three management for the All-Africa Games.
“What has happened was that we invited applications for candidates for the position of Chef de Mission and placed adverts in the media.”
