Kadewere on target

ZIMBABWE international striker, Tino Kadewere scored his first league goal for Nantes in the French Ligue 1 as they won 2-1 at Toulouse yesterday.

It was his fourth league appearance since his move from Olympique Lyon and he was on target in the 51st minute, getting to the end of a Mostafa Mohamed assist to make it 2-0.

Mohamed had put Nantes ahead in the second minute while the hosts pulled one back in the sixth minute of injury time.

With the win, Nantes moved into 12th place in the 18-team league with 22 points from 21 matches -28 points behind leaders PSG and just three above Lorient who occupy the last relegation slot. Kadewere has now scored three goals for Nantes after his double on debut as they beat lowly Pau 4-1 in the Coupe de France tournament.
