Kadoma sportsman stabbed to death

POLICE in Kadoma are hunting for a yet to be identified person or people who stabbed to death a local man on Wednesday.

Provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Ian Kohwera, who confirmed the sad and horrendous act that saw a young sportsman, Scott Blessing Kamwise, lose his life said police had since instituted a manhunt for the yet to be identified person or people.

The culprit(s) slit the throat and stabbed the back of the victim several times.

“Kamwise aged 24, was found dead with two deep wounds on the neck on  May 29,  2024, along Water Works Road near Blue Ranges, Kadoma. 

“His body was found lying beside the road a pool of blood at around 0600 hours by a local motorist, who then advised other residents of nearby homesteads, leading to his identification by his father,” Inspector Kohwera said.

A police report was made at ZRP Kadoma Central, and the body was conveyed to Kadoma General Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem.

Inspector Kohwera appealed to anyone with information on the case to contact any nearest police station.
