Kanu on Gunners woes

LONDON. — Nwankwo Kanu says Arsenal need to stop cracking under pressure.

The Gunners finished second to shock champions Leicester last season, making it 12 long years without an English Premier League soccer title for Arsene Wenger’s side.

And Kanu, who won two top-flight trophies during his stay in north London, believes it’s about time they put that right.

He said: “You know the problem with Arsenal? When you need them, they let you down.

“I believe they have learned from that. It doesn’t matter how good you play football, you need to get the points when it’s needed.”

Arsenal have taken four points from their opening three games this term. — The Daily Star.
