KATSANDE THRILLED TO BE BACK AT BF Ex-warriors enforcer soaks in BF vibes

FORMER Warriors midfield enforcer Willard Katsande was among the thousands of fans who thronged Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday to watch Highlanders battle it out with Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Katsande, now retired, was all smiles as he took in the electric atmosphere at the iconic venue—his first visit back in years.

“It’s the second time I am coming here. I first came with Gunners when I was a player. I return as a fan. Barbourfields is still the same—very passionate fans,” said Katsande.

The match ended in a 1–1 draw, with Reason Sibanda grabbing a second-half equaliser for Bosso after Tinashe Mavhudzi had fired Ngezi into the lead.

It was a trip down memory lane for Katsande, who remains a crowd favourite wherever he goes.
