South Africa-based broadcaster and former Studio 263 actress Yvonne Katsande has ventured into the fashion industry with a new label called “Ennovy” that specialises in tear-up jeans.
Speaking to The Herald Entertainment from her base in SA, the television personality-cum-businesswoman said the initiative had been work in progress for the past two years. “I am certainly exploring other avenues in business. I did mention early this year that I had quite a number of new projects that I will be working on and this is just one of them. An ever innovative mind doesn’t rest, it always finds inspiration from many things,” she said.

She said while her focus was directed more on building her political career and media empire,The House of Ennovy Productions, she was committed in making her fashion business a success.

With the help of her sister Daphne Makosa, who encouraged her to pursue the fashion route, they have come up with a variety of designs for women of different shapes and sizes.
Amongst the designs, is the “Ennovy’s Daphne Cut”.

“We are currently working on more designs so that we can present our clients with amazing cuts. The official date of the launch will be announced when the process is complete. However, people can order as there is already enough stock. The rest of the designs are available on my Twitter and Facebook page,” she said.
Ennvoy tear-up jeans will be available across the continent, according to Katsande as they were engaging reputable retailers for partnership.

“At this stage enquiries and orders can be emailed to our administration team at [email protected], Yvonne Katsande Ennovy on Facebook or @ykastande on twitter. I have something phenomenal coming up,”she said.
