Musician Kay_Kid Umfanomsotho is steadily carving out his space in Bulawayo’s music scene following his recent relocation to the City of Kings and Queens from Gwanda. The rising star has already collaborated with some of the city’s hottest acts and continues to grow his brand.

After featuring on La Dee’s Umaqondana Wami and Bhila’s Emaweni, he has now released a blazing new single titled Inhliziyo Yami, this time teaming up with Khwezi_ZW.

The song’s beat was crafted by Mdue, recorded at Donny Chords Studios, and mixed and mastered by Kuda Kay. Accompanied by stunning visuals shot in Gwanda by Promethius and directed by Motion Culture, Inhliziyo Yami tells the story of a troubled relationship plagued by infidelity.

The chorus lyrics, “Wangphul’inhliziyo uzong’dinga one night makungasemnandi,” serve as a cautionary message to lovers about the importance of staying faithful in relationships.

Kay_Kid Umfanomsotho promised fans more music before the year ends, urging them to stay tuned.

The musician said his relocation to Bulawayo has been a rewarding decision.
“I don’t regret moving here because my brand is growing, especially through the features I’m getting, which are introducing me to new audiences from the artistes I collaborate with.
“I’m holding it tight for more opportunities, new links, and new doors opening. It’s been amazing as I’m still going hard,” Kay_Kid Umfanomsotho said.

His rise in Bulawayo has been impressive, with his single Amawala dominating the Skyz Metro FM Weekly Top 20 charts for four months. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
