Kaykid Umfanomsotho teams up with Bhila for new single ‘Emaweni’

Kaykid Umfanomsotho has just released a new song titled Emaweni featuring Bhila, a Bulawayo-based artist. Kaykid shared his experience during the recording of the song with Bhila. “Working with Bhila was such an honour, I think he is a very talented musician and our voices complemented each other so well, resulting in the production of this masterpiece,” he said.

He has another upcoming song titled Inhliziyo featuring Kwezi, dropping on Friday with the visuals featuring Nobesethu Vanessa, a video vixen well known as NessaNobz. “This is an emotional song, about failed relationships and disloyal partners. The visuals are perfectly crafted and on Friday, I’m releasing it,” said Umfanomsotho.

Kaykid has also recently performed at the Miss and Mr Rural pageant that took place in Masvingo at the Urban Lifestyle Hotel on the 19th. As a performer, Kaykid has graced notable events like the Black Diamond Show, XQ Show, AAG function, and Miss Gwanda Culture event. He won two awards in 2021, including the Best Afropop Song award at The Eminent in Sports Music and Academic Awards (TESMA).

His song titled Umaqondana Wami featuring LaDee, which was released on the 12th of June, is currently sitting on 3.2K views on YouTube, showing a positive response from fans.

The talented musician has also made a name for himself on Boomplay, with nine albums available on the platform.
